Golf is one of the most popular games in the world for many different reasons. One of the biggest reasons that golf has become so popular is that it is perhaps the most relaxing game that you could play and perhaps one of the most relaxing activities that you could possibly hope to take part in. the game of golf has only been made more relaxing by the invention of golf carts and their proliferation. Golf carts were invented so that the use of rolling golf bags could be replaced with an even more leisurely way of making your way through a golf course. Golf carts were initially used in only the most exclusive golf courses and country clubs at first and were sold in fleets. Today there is not a single golf course of country club that does not offer its members the use of a fleet of golf carts. Many new uses have also been found for golf carts and the spread of the popularity of the game of golf has only aided the spread in popularity of golf carts.

It is not uncommon to see people driving around their neighborhood in a golf cart as a way to do a number of things. Many people find that buying used gas golf carts for sale is a great way to cut down on the amount of gasoline that they use to transport themselves back and forth. In addition to the residential uses of golf carts many industries have also adopted their use for many different reasons. Golf carts are used by both state and private entities for a multitude of reasons and golf carts can even be seen on Hollywood movie sets transporting actors and other people throughout the studio grounds. Many people who work in farming and ranching industries also find that golf carts and their more rugged cousins, golf cars, are great ways to get around tracts of land.

Golf Apparel: What to Wear on a Golf Course

January 8th, 2008 at 12:06am Under Apparel

You must be dressed properly in order to go out onto a golf course. First, you need to throw on a collared shirt. No button downs because they become uncomfortable to play in, and look very odd. So just throw on a polo or a lacoste and you will be fine. Next, if it is warm outside, wear a pair of khaki shorts. But when it is chilly outside, it is totally acceptable to wear a pair of khaki pants. Then, just tuck your collared shirt into your khaki shorts/pants and throw on a belt. Also, when it is sunny outside, it is totally fine to throw on a hat (facing forward) or a pair of sunglasses. Once you get dressed in the apparel discussed above, your ready to go to the golf course!
