When you are setting up to hit your shot, you don’t want to have a too wide stance and you also don’t want to have a too thin stance because those are two major causes for error in golf swings.
In order to figure out what the correct stance is, you must have a regular NBA-size basketball. Go out to a driving range, or on an empty course, and put the basketball inbetween your thighs, starting at the bottom of your knees. Then, while keeping your legs in the same position, drop the basketball and let it roll away. That is the correct space you should have between your legs in your stance.

As I said in Improving Your Posture: Part 1, keeping a straight back when you go to set up for your shot is one of the key essentials in posture. I explained and described one of the exercises I have used and had some success with. But now I am going to share another exercise I have used that is a little bit old-fashioned, but works very well.
For this exersice, all you will need is a small, soft item like a 6×6 bean bag. Once you get your bean bag, place it on the top and center of your head. Then, while standing, pretend as though you’re pushing the bean bag to the sky. This should get you in proper posture with a straight back. While doing this, walk around your hallways in your home for a little bit, and when your feeling ready and advanced, walk up and down the stairs doing this. After trying this for a couple of days, I have made some major improvement. Also, if you do not have a 6×6 bean bag, the only other thing that I know you could do is use a book. But books aren’t very soft so they may not be as comfortable as a bean bag.
Good luck everyone! Hope this exercise works out for you.

When you are setting up to take your shot, you must set up in proper posture. Part of proper posture is keeping your back straight instead of curved. So when you are leaning over, you should be able to put a club vertically on your back and have it touching every part of your back it crosses over. But keeping a straight back can be very hard for some people like myself. So to figure out how to fix the problem, I have researched and gotten doctors opinions.
One thing that I discovered and have been doing myself for a few days now involves using an exercise ball. All you need to do is bring your exercise ball to any area in your house, and just sit upright on it using good posture. Also make sure that your shoulders aren’t crouched forward. I personally like to do this in front of the TV and just watch my favorite TV show while I am doing this. It gives me some entertainment.
Stay tuned for Part 2 which will be published soon where I will share another trick you can use to straighten your back in your posture.

Under Drills+ Tips and Tricks
It is very easy to identify the problems within your swing. To identify them, videotape yourself swinging one of your irons. After, go back and watch the videotape you just took. Then, look for some problems you can easily identify. Then, after you identify some problems, show the videotape to others that you know that play golf. Have them identify some problems in your shot. Then, next time you go to a range or course, try to improve on the problems you identified before. I hope this was a helpful hint to all of you guys! Stay tuned for Part 2!

One bad mistake that you can make when you make impact with the ball in your swing is topping the ball. This is a little drill that will help your stop topping the ball. Get some type of bag that will hold on the ground in its position if you hit it with your club. Then line up to the bag and take your swing. Stop your club when you make impact with the bag. Keep doing this and just try to have your club head make impact on the ground right at where the beginning of the bag is. This is like a mircle worker.
It works so well. Just keep doing this on and on for a minute or two and it will make a very big difference.

I know tons of golfers who can have a pretty hard time making my putts. That is until I taught them that the key to making most, if not all of your putts is to have a straight swing. Basically, you don’t want your putter head opening or closing. The only way to make sure that you are not opening or closing is practice. A little drill that is commonly used is putting two tees in the ground across from each other like a mini fence, with just enough room for you to get your putter head through the tees. Then put your club head down right in between the tees. Then go ahead and do your putting stroke. If you hit one of the two tees, then you either opened or closed your putter face. Keep practicing this drill and remember, practice makes perfect.

Under Drills+ Setting Up
Most of the time, it is very hard to aim your putts correctly. I will be sharing a little trick with you to help you aim your putts better. It’s called “Lining the Ball”. To do this, you mark your ball wherever it is on the green with a ball marker, and then you’ll notice that there is some company logo on your ball like, “Nike”, “Loco”, “Noodle”, etc. Using the line with the company logo, get on your knees, and position the ball right behind the ball marker so that the company’s logo line is pointing towards the pin. So if there is no break on the green, aim it directly at the hole, but otherwise aim it right or left depending on whatever way the break is going. Then, on your putter head, you will see a mini line in the center of it. Align that line with the logo’s line on the ball. Then after taking your ball marker out, go ahead and hit your putt. This should help you get your putts closer to the hole.
