Get a Good Grip on Your Golf Club

One thing that prevents 90% of golfers from getting any better is their grip. Having a good grip is a learned skill and not something you are born with. Remember that all good golfers have a good grip and bad golfers seldom have a good grip. A proper comfortable grip is essential to make a good golf swing.
The heartening fact is that no matter how long you have been using your present grip, you can still change your grip and get on your way to a better swing. Working on your grip during off-season is recommended as it gives you time to get accustomed to the new grip just before the season begins. If you have been fed with the theory that after all the grip is a personal thing, now is the time to consign such beliefs to the trashcan.
There is a lot of disagreement over the merits of different types of grips such as the Vardon grip, interlock, and the baseball grip. Certain basic fundamentals apply to each one of the Golfkurse products.
First thing to bear in mind is that your left hand is the controlling hand (right hand players). Place your left hand on the club and hold the club firmly, not tightly. Place the club on the ground. Your last three fingers should hold the club more than the index finger and the thumb, which should be lighter. The thumb should be pointing towards the ground while your index finger and thumb make a ‘V’, pointing directly towards your chin. Please remember that when placing the left hand on the Golfshop grip, the butt of the grip should stick out at least half an inch. Now place your right hand just below your left hand. The palm of your right hand should be placed in such a way that the grip is just under the base of the fingers and not in the middle of the right palm. If the palm of your right hand is right on top of the thumb of your left hand, then you have the desired grip. The ‘V’ should point directly to your right shoulder. Use the best products to get the right swing.
One good way to know if your grip is good is to check if the back of your left hand and the palm of your right hand are facing the target. Understand the overlapping grip, and the interlocking grip.
